he's thinking of proposing to her,
and mentioned i may be best man.
This made me think of you
Especially later in the day
When i looked out the window
And noticed the solar lamps
glowing.
They're the only thing left
of the garden you fixed for me.
My brother and sister have made a mess
Of what used to be my home
Mirrors gone
The mannequin tucked away.
But seeing that solar lamp
shining in the night
Warmed my heart.
A combination of sadness
And happiness
Thinking of how beautiful
Some things were.
