and the branches continue
to course through my brain
some twigs and leafs sprouting
from my ears

eyes
I'll become something
so beautiful
forever
even if I get cut down
toppled and shaved into
tiny little pieces
but even the little pieces
will remain beautiful
and everyone can
have a piece to keep
day to day
reminded of all things
